Ivanka Trump is in her own right, a remarkably successful woman. Despite her years of business success, being a mother of three, and highly regarded among power players of varying political inclinations, liberals deemed her worthy of punishment in the form of a national boycott of her beauty and fashion products. Their reason? Her name is Trump.
Despite continued boycotts, Ivanka Trump’s fashion line is reporting record-high sales figures, according to Refinery29.
Abigail Klem, the president of Ivanka Trump’s brand, told Refinery29, “since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand.”
“For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some categories it was the [brand’s] best performance ever.”
In a different article, Refinery29 also reports that in February, there was more interest among consumers in Ivanka Trump’s brand than ever before.
“Between January and February this year,” reads the article, “Ivanka Trump Collection saw a 346% boost, in terms of how many people shopped the brand on [e-commerce site] Lyst. Compared to February 2016, the final tally was a 557% increase from the same month last year.”
News of Ivanka Trump’s brand surging in popularity comes despite weeks of very vocal protests from leftists.
One of the most prominent protests came in the form of #GrabYourWallet, which instructed consumers to boycott any store selling Trump family brand items.
This resulted in cheers from liberals who were apparently certain that their plan to crush Ivanka’s brand was working.
@IvankaTrump How’s daddy’s blind trust? Is it true you’ll be recieving tax funded subsidizes for your losses due to Nordstrom?
