“I hear this woman yelling something about a message,” said Bob, one of the victims to WABC. “I don’t know who she’s talking to.”
“She gets in my face and says, ‘You got a message for me with your fancy boat?’” in an apparent reference to the watercraft Bob and his wife were towing.
“She starts punching me, scratching at me.”
Bob went on to declare, “she called my wife a white (expletive) and spit in her face.”ge
“She said, ‘I’ve got something in my car that can put a hole in your boat,’” Bob continued. “I thought it was a gun, but thank God it wasn’t. It was a carpenter hammer.”
The woman allegedly went on to damage the couple’s Porsche and boat with a hammer.
According to WABC, Caroline County Sheriff Tony Lippa said, “she clawed him.”
The suspect then allegedly jumped in her Jeep and fled.

The outlet also states that Sheriff Lippa is looking into the incident as a hate crime.
There is apparently no word yet on whether she will be charged with committing a hate crime.
“There were some racial slurs directed at [Bob’s wife],” he reportedly said. “That’s what we’re looking into as far as it being a hate crime.”
