As you all no doubt know, on Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump announced the man he has chosen as his nominee for the Supreme Court seat left vacant by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia last spring. But what you don’t know is what happened after the cameras were turned off. Until a until just a couple of weeks ago, such action would have been unheard of and had Obama and his band of Merry Muslims have done it, the media would have spreed it far and wide, but they didn’t.
During the presentation of his new nominee to the Supreme Court, President Trump called Judge Neil Gorsuch a fine man, a great conservative Christian who has spoken out firmly against euthanasia, and said that he was sure Justice Scalia would approve of his choice. But once the flood lights dimmed and the reporters took off to file their stories, the real story started.
Following this historic moment, President Trump gathered together with Vice President Pence and Mrs Pence, Mrs Gorsuch and Justice Gorsuch, the President’s two sons, his chief of staff Reince Priebus, and Antonin Scalia’s widow Maureen. That is when the groups actions would have made the press go wild. They sought guidance and help from the Lord together in what appeared to be a very profound and holy moment.
Following the very personal, but yet very appropriate gathering, The President tweeted out the following message to followers:
“Moment of prayer last night after my nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch for #SCOTUS. It was an honor having Maureen and Fr. Scalia join us.”
The message went out accompanied by this picture:
Maybe we should all follow the Presidents lead and take a moment to offer a prayer for the new nominee. Surely with everything that is going on in our country that is being fueled by the liberal left, it couldn’t hurt. Judge Gorsuch is taking on a tough job as he faces questions from the Godless members of the left in preparation to taking on this incredibly important new role and the confirmation process.
May God help him get through the process ahead and grant him the wisdom of Solomon in the decisions he will make in the future for the benefit of the people of the United States. – Amen
