Karma can be an unaltered female dog. And when a muslim gets caught in a lie, it’s just a matter of course. Over the weekend, following the suspension of visas and greencards from seven nations where terrorism is a problem, an American citizen from Michigan claimed that because of the “muslim ban” his mother was not able to return to the United States with him, and as a result, she died.
One minor problem with that statement…the woman died five days before the ban was put in place.
Fox affiliate WJBK is reporting that Mike Hager, who on Tuesday told the station that his mother Naimma had died following Trump’s signing of the executive order, actually died five days before the order was signed, according to Imam Husham Al-Hussainy.
Hager said he was allowed to return because he is an American citizen. But on Tuesday, he claimed that his mother, who was suffering from kidney disease, was denied entry.
“I really believe this in my heart: if they would have let us in, my mom – she would have made it and she would have been sitting right here next to me,” Hager said on Tuesday. “She’s gone because of (Trump).”
Well, that’s convenient. President Donald Trump makes a move that actually enforces laws put in place by the Obama Administration, and since he’s the one doing the suspension and not the former Occupier of the Oval Office, any and every heart string tugging story that comes out of the woodwork gets pushed by the mainstream media to make the man look mean and uncharitable. Even if the story has not been vetted and is not true.
Fake tears indeed. Yes, the man suffered a loss, but the lie was really scorched earth in nature. Anything to injure the enemy. In this case, the story unraveled very quickly. Unfortunately, the damage is done. Once narratives take hold in the minds of those taught to despise anything and everything President Trump does, it’s carved in granite truth whether it’s true or not.
